Adham Sbeih
Co-Founder | Principal
Since 2007, Adham Sbeih has been a Principal at Socotra Capital. Adham manages the loan origination, processing, funding, and servicing of all loans and investments at Socotra Capital. The founding partner of the firm, Adham is responsible for Socotra Capital funding more than $1 billion in private money loans across 22 different states. Adham’s key criteria in underwriting focus on integrity and reliability, for investors and borrowers alike. Adham is a recognized industry expert and a guest speaker at lending and real estate investment events throughout California.
Prior to founding Socotra Capital, Adham had worked in banking as a commercial real estate lender and at a commercial capital company funding Small Business Association loans. His experiences in the banking and lending industry had a significant impact on the types of loans and structure of loans that Socotra Capital makes today.
When not at the office working Adham can be found playing chess, training his Belgian Malinois dog, or cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

Roy Malone
CEO
Roy Malone is the President of Herzer Financial and CEO of Socotra Capital. Prior to joining Socotra, Roy was one of the founding executives and President of Golden Pacific Bank. Over the past 30+ years, he has filled many executive and operational roles, primarily in the community banking space. Roy maintains a real estate brokers license as well as a general contractors license.
Roy grew up in the Sacramento area. He attended UC Davis and graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a BS in Business Administration concentrating in Real Estate and Land Use. He has served on several boards, is a member of the FBI Citizens Academy, and manages a private venture capital fund.
Roy and his wife Trisha raised their four kids (now adults) in El Dorado County. When he’s not at work or with family, he is often competing in multi-day endurance events in wild parts of the world.
Tony Ingoglia
Chief Strategy Officer
Tony Ingoglia is the Chief Strategy Officer at Socotra Capital, also serving on the board of advisors since the company was established in 2007. In this role, he is responsible for developing, communicating, and executing Socotra's underwriting and strategic investment initiatives, ensuring Socotra Capital delivers to investor's risk-adjusted return expectations.
Tony has spent the past decade leveraging his corporate finance expertise. Prior to joining Socotra Capital, Tony served as a Corporate Finance Manager at Intel Corporation, a global leader in the semiconductor industry, from 2011 to 2017 in an operations finance capacity. In 2010, Tony had the opportunity to be a part of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, a bipartisan commission tasked with investigating the cause of the financial crisis of 2007 to 2010. The commission’s report cited regulatory failures, lapses in corporate governance, and excessive leverage as key factors contributing to the financial crisis.
Tony began his career in corporate finance in 2006 at Tony's Fine Foods, now a wholly owned subsidiary of United Natural Foods Inc., also serving as an independent shareholder representative on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Ingoglia earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and holds an M.B.A. in finance from the University of California, Davis: Graduate School of Management.
Paul Cotter
Chief Operations Officer & In-House Counsel
Paul Cotter is the Chief Operating Officer at Socotra Capital. He joined Socotra after nineteen years of legal practice representing developers, property owners, and contractors in real estate-related litigation. A licensed real estate broker in California, Paul joined Socotra Capital in 2015 to head the operations department and serve as general counsel.
Raised in the Los Angeles area, the youngest of seven children, Paul attended high school in Rolling Hills Estates, California. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a Bachelor’s degree in History, where he rowed varsity crew. He attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, and became a member of the California Bar in 1995. Paul worked in construction litigation in Orange County, California for three years, before moving to Sacramento in 1998 to continue his legal career in partnership with his older brother. His practice focused on construction and real estate litigation, primarily representing contractors, developers, and other landowners.
Outside of work, Paul serves on the board of directors of a local charity and is active in his church. His interests include motor racing of any kind, ice hockey, and music. He and his wife are kept busy raising their children.
Chris Baumann
Executive Vice President
Coming to Socotra Capital in 2012 after an extensive career in sales with Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, Chris rose to become the Business Development Team Leader at Socotra Capital, as the top Loan Originator in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. An active member of his community, Chris guides others in professional development and is a member of numerous professional associations throughout California.

Matthew Yu

Graduating from the University of California, Davis with two degrees in economics and biochemistry, Matthew Yu is an excellent problem solver, cleverly crafting fixes for unique scenarios. A loan originator since 2013, Matt concentrates on the California Bay Area and Seattle, Washington markets. Matt grew up in San Francisco, enjoys fishing as often as possible and playing his drum set, and is happily married to his high school sweetheart.

Keith Rejino
Chief Underwriter
Keith Rejino is a Senior Underwriter at Socotra Capital. He joined Socotra after over sixteen years in commercial real estate, working in consulting, banking, and real estate syndication. He has analyzed, underwritten, and valued over $1.0 billion in commercial real estate. A licensed real estate agent, he joined Socotra Capital in early 2026.
Raised in Southern California, Keith earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Financial Management, from California State University, Fullerton.
Keith started his career working as an analyst and asset manager for a commercial real estate bridge and construction lender before moving on to real estate syndication where he oversaw all underwriting and asset management. Learning from his teammates in banking, Keith became an expert in designing underwriting models for condo conversions, multifamily and ground up construction projects.
Later in his career, Keith was a Senior Underwriter with Credit Approval Authority at a community bank before returning to commercial real estate syndication as a consultant working on large land development projects throughout Northern California.
In his off time, Keith enjoys mountain biking, running and exploring the outdoors.

Sean McDonald
VP
Sean McDonald has been originating loans with Socotra Capital since 2013, with a primary focus in leading business development in the Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona markets. Prior to joining our team, was an appraiser for several years, specializing in the hospitality and gaming industries. He received his education from the University of California at Davis, and California State University at Chico. When he is not working, Sean is a full-time husband to his wife Ewa, and father to his 2-year-old baby boy named Jakob.

Ana Muñoz

Ana Muñoz received a promotion in November 2022 to Socotra’s Relationship Manager position. Ms. Muñoz excels in finding solutions with seamless execution, if you want something done you should probably run it by Ana. Ana Muñoz is proud to be on Team Socotra after serving over 4 years running operations manager for a local Sacramento business that grosses over $5MM annually. Ana was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and her family roots from Jalisco, Mexico. Ms. Muñoz is also fluent in Spanish, enjoys walks in nature, meditating, horseback riding and spending quality time with family.

Outside of work, Autumn likes to go fishing, playing video games, and enjoys spending time with her significant other.

Carlos Stahl joined Socotra Capital in June 2025 prior to his graduation from California State University, Sacramento, where he studied Economics and minored in Real Estate and Land Use. Having been an ex-collegiate football player he is dedicated to applying data-driven analysis to better serve clients, create meaningful solutions, and ensure the job is done. Outside the office, Carlos enjoys getting lost in California's Landscapes, from hiking the trails of Northern California with his Border Collie and tracking wildlife to off roading in the deserts of the Mojave and Joshua Tree.

Hunter joined Socotra Capital in January 2026 and is focused on building a reputation for reliability and a client‑focused approach in the real estate industry. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2025 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Venture Management, inspired early on by his father, an entrepreneur in the insurance industry.
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, Hunter strives to exceed client expectations. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, supporting the Kings, 49ers, and Dodgers, and spending time with his girlfriend and family. A dedicated foodie, he especially loves Urban Roots, a local brewery and barbecue spot.

In his spare time he can be found at a park or bouncehouse with his daughter, trying out new restaurants or traveling.

Ratishia Williams started working for Socotra in Jan 2021, bringing in 10+ years of loan servicing experience as loan servicing supervisor, Ratishia manages the daily service flow of loans. She is a mother to 2 boys and her fur baby. She enjoys traveling with her Fiancée' and spending time with her family when she isn't working.
Zachary Sharron

Zachary Sharron is a results-driven operations leader with over a decade of specialized experience in loan servicing, default management, bankruptcy administration, and regulatory compliance across banking, private capital, and credit union environments. He excels at developing standard operating procedures and training programs, resolving operational challenges, delivering financial metrics, leading audits, and driving systems integrations that enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Previously, Zachary has held progressive leadership positions with nationally recognized fintech, credit-union, and banking organizations. Zachary brings expertise in vendor management, portfolio performance analytics, loss mitigation, REO asset management, and cross-functional collaboration. He holds an Associate in Arts Degree, A.A. and a Bachelor of Science Degree, B.S. in Business Administration from Liberty University. RaeAnne Cuevas joined Socotra Capital in 2019 to be the investor representative at every step of the investment process. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, RaeAnne earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from San Diego State University. When she’s not in the office, RaeAnne enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her son.

Tami joined Socotra in 2013 and has attended Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley. Tami has graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in History. She likes to read and bake in free time and visit her family in Bay Area.

Elizabeth joined Socotra Capital in 2018 as a loan servicing processor and has over 15 years of customer service. Originally Elizabeth is from Louisiana and she loves Cajun food and her New Orleans Saints Football team. Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family & friends and visiting different wineries throughout area.
Helen Nguyen
Senior Executive Assistant
Helen has worn many hats at Socotra Capital: she first started working in 2015 as a Business Associate in Loan Origination. In 2016, Helen graduated college with a Bachelors degree at UC Davis, majoring in Economics, & minoring in communications. At which point, she changed roles as the Operations Assistant with Socotra and mainly assisted the Funding Dept. Then in 2017, Helen started working in the Loan Servicing Dept. and helped manage investor relations.
